Make Up and Hair Tips for Spring 2015

As everyone sheds the heavy coats and snow boots, let’s see the fresh looks for this year’s Spring. As expected, bright colors and pastels are in. But there are a few surprises too and there’s always room for experimenting and quirkiness.

Make Up

  1. Plum – get a lipstick or eye shadow in this rich and romantic shade to channel your inner mystical wood nymph. Deep berry, ethereal burgundy and other dark purples are also a good alternative.

  2. Smoky Shadow – yes Spring is still a good time to rock those smoky eyes. For a truly spring vibe, pair with extra red lips and strokes of bright colors on your outfit or accessories.

  3. Black Lined Eyes – the black eyeliner isn’t going anywhere so keep it handy always. For a fresh look, keep the rest of your make up simple.

  4. Winged Eyes – get flirty and creative with those eyeliners. Winged and cat eyes are great looks for the season of blooms.

  5. Gloss – it’s the perfect time of the year to shine. So bring out those glossy lips and tinted cheeks.

  6. Bold Red Lips – it’s the season for new things, so be bold and take on the world with a spring on your step!

  1. Ponytails – stay chic this Spring with thrown-in, looped-under ponytail or coming-undone styles as seen on the runway at Creatures of the Wind. Low ponytails are also the rage. Pair with a cute flowy dress and you’re good to go.764px-Street_Parade_2013_033

  2. Low Braids – the trick is to make them look loose and don’t be afraid of allowing wisps of hair to frame your face.

  3. Teased Hair – perfect for a breezy look and for nights out.

  4. Air-dried Texture – basically, let your hair dry naturally. Skip the blow dryer this time.

  5. Simple, Soft and Loose – no need to contain your waves. Set them free and don’t worry about too complex hairstyles.

  6. Length – go for shoulder length or beyond. Runways are all about long and flowy hair these days.
