10 Ways to Help You Smell Great All Day, Every Day

One of the biggest turn-offs for a lot of people is body odor. Wearing fashionable clothing or full makeup won’t do you any good if you smell bad. Taking a shower is sometimes not enough to guarantee that you’ll smell great all day, what with the heat and pollution as soon as you step out of your house. So, aside from wearing deodorant and perfume, here’s what experts have to say when it comes to smelling fresh, clean the entire day.

Spray your fragrance on your wrists, but don’t rub it.

Vice President Mark Knitowski for Victoria’s Secret’s product innovation and fragrance said, “Spray it on your wrists, the back of your neck, or mist it into the air and walk through it. But whatever you do, don’t rub it in because this will make the top note disappear quickly, leaving you with only the middle and base notes, rather than the full fragrance.”

Wash greasy hair immediately.

If you’re used to not washing your hair for a few days, that’s alright. But when it starts to get oily, that can lead to hair odor. Use scented shampoo and conditioner. Look for products that suit your type of hair: oily, dry, curly, etc.

Use pillow and sheet spray.

A lot of westerners are used to not taking a shower in the morning because they do before they go to bed. But sweat can make your sheets and pillow smell, which can envelope you while you’re sleeping. So, use a spray to make your linens smell clean every day.

Spritz your closet with an odor-eliminating product.

So even if your clothes have been inside your closet for a long time, they will still smell brand new. As a result, you won’t smell like you came out of a decades-old dresser when you’re wearing them.

Have a foot spray in your bag all the time.

Sweaty feet equates to smelly feet. If you’re one to take off shoes while in the office or car, be sure to have a foot spray with you always. Spritz some on your feet now and then to neutralize the smell of sweat.

Smelling good equates to cleanliness. So, always make it a point to keep yourself odor free at all times.
