The lingerie that make a woman feel more feminine
Women’s magazines and several television shows, show how a woman can stimulate her sexuality, wearing short and sexy underwear, may ultimately be wrong. A research argues that in reality, there are many types of lingerie that can make a woman feel more feminine. According to Dr. Christiana Tsaousi, marketing and consumption lecturer in the Department of Management, University of Leicester, choosing lingerie is significantly influenced by the personal taste of every woman, which is determined by social background, professional status and upbringing. That is why each has its own needs.
In her research, Dr. Tsaousi interviewed women from different social groups, such as university professors, new moms and rugby players and found for example that rugby players prefer the cute underwear, while those teachers who matched their professional dresses. She concludes, therefore, that women are very careful in choosing the right underwear for the right occasion and that comfort is often as important as sexuality, that lingerie give.
Unfortunately, the show often focuses on a particular kind of femininity, which is not true in most cases. This has resulted in many women feel guilty about their appearance, but also the feelings they have for their bodies if they wear what they advertised as sexy. The marketing and consumption lecturer in the Department of Management at the University of Leicester advises finally men when buying lingerie for their partners, to choose those that suit them and make them feel comfortable and not those raised by advertising and emissions.
