How to take care dry and damaged hair

Dry hair does not need washing every day. Rinse them in warm water on the days you do not wash. Use products with vinegar and herbs to rinse the shampoo to restore the pH balance of the skin and relieve itching. Once a week, soak your hair deeply to restore their luster. Below you will read a list on how to make your own hair care products with no cost and excellent results.

Aromatherapy shampoo

Essential oils and sandalwood Palmaroza in conjunction with glycerin, effectively moisturizes dry hair.

What do you need:
– 20 drops of sandalwood essential oil
– 10 drops of essential oil Palmaroza
– 1 tablespoon of vegetable glycerin
– 60ml natural shampoo without perfume
– 60ml water

Mix the essential oils of sandalwood and Palmaroza with vegetable glycerin in a bottle and shake well . Add the shampoo and water in the mixture and shake again. Use the shampoo within one week, or store it in the refrigerator up to one month.

Rinse with herbs

The shampoo with herbs, rose petals, chamomile, and althea root, benefits and softens dry hair.

What do you need:
– 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile
– 2 tablespoons of dried rose petals
– 2 tablespoons of dried root althea
– 500ml water

Boil chamomile, rose petals and althea root with water in a covered saucepan. Remove from heat and let the mixture aside to cool off. Drain, transfer to a clean container and shake well. Pour 125ml of the mixture in your hair after shampooing. Keep the rest in the fridge. Keep it there up to two weeks.

Rinse with vinegar and herbs

The apple cider vinegar helps to restore the pH balance of dry hair.

What do you need:
– 1 tablespoon of dried chamomile
– 1 tablespoon of dried rose petals
– 1 tablespoon of dried root althea
– 250ml of cider vinegar

Leave the herbs in the apple cider vinegar in a covered glass jar for two weeks. Drain and transfer the mixture to a clean bottle. Add one tablespoon of the mixture into 25Oml water and pour in the hair on the last rinse.

Deep hydration with aromatic oils

Once a week, soak your hair and scalp to combat damage from shampoos, heat and chemical treatments. The sandalwood essential oil revitalizes dry hair. For deep hydration, mix one tablespoon of jojoba oil or almond oil with five drops of sandalwood essential oil in a small bowl. (If you have long hair, you need twice as much). Wet your hair with warm water and massage the mixture on the head and hair. If your scalp is oily, apply the mixture only on the ends of your hair. Wear a cap and let the oils to penetrate for 30 minutes. Wash hair, rinse thoroughly and apply conditioner if needed.
