Fashion Trends to Look Out for In 2015

Getting over the holiday fever? Chances are, by this time, you are already in search for what’s new for 2015. So, here’s a few of our picks for fresh, new wardrobe for the new year.

Shirtdresses

Spring 2015 will be all about function. And shirtdresses best fit the description.

Shirtdresses are not only comfortable; they are also real easy to sport for different occasions. If you are not into the utilitarian style, however, no worries as shirtdresses also come in silk fabrics. Pair them with pumps or wedges and you’ll immediately look the classiest lady on campus.

Chic White Dress

The thing with white dresses is that they never go out of style. You will have to make sure though that you don’t brush up against walls should you decide to don one. Still, the style is certainly worth the risk. Go for the classy all-white look by pairing white dress with white pumps or switch the style up by putting on bold shoes.

Pool Slides

New to sport sandals? Don’t worry, many are too. But the moment temperatures start warming up in 2015, this is expected to change. In 2014, pool slides were worn mostly by fashion elites on runways and magazines so they would most likely be out on fashion boutiques next season.

Slip Dresses

Slip dresses are another must-haves for 2015. The silhouette design has been present in a lot of design themes with hemlines ranging from mini, maxi, asymmetric to midi. Go for slip dresses with spaghetti straps. There are also those with additional strappy details you might want to consider for an edgier style. For more layering possibilities, dresses made of sheer materials would be ideal.

Bucket Bags

Bucket bags are expected to remain popular this year with Louis Vuitton having made strong statement with their embossing, metal accents and appliques, giving the bag new looks and styles.

Except those of Moschino and Dior who are drifting towards a larger carry shape, bucket bags in general have also been reduced in size, appearing more condensed than what they may have been seen previously.
