Essential oils for every skin type

Essential oils can give wonderful beauty results on your skin. Today we are dealing with the skin of our face. Every woman has a different skin type and this means that for every skin type there are certain essential oils that work best on each case.



Normal skin

Normal skin means that the flow of sebum and skin moisture in equilibrium. This skin has a natural glow, it’s soft and has fine pores clean of pimples, scars and deep wrinkles. In aromatherapy normal skin maintains its normal state and by that we mean its freshness.

• Oil-bases: Almond oil 85%, 15% wheat germ oil.

• Essential oils: neroli, chamomile, lavender.

Oily skin

The oily skin, has increased flow of sebum and moisture to the skin, has numerous blackheads, dirt, spots and clouds of oiliness. Aromatherapy can, with the use of essential oils, reduce the flow of sebum and oil, address contamination and bacteria accumulate on the surface of the skin and generally to balance the situation. Caution! Essential oils do very good on oily skin. You can use up to three for your daily care replacing your cream.

• Oil-bases: Grape oil 30 ml.

• Essential oils: bergamot, geranium, lavender, basil, ilang ilang, cedar.

Mixed skin

The combined skin presents an arrhythmia in the flow of sebum, mainly in the forehead and under the nose area, having open pores on the jaw. In contrast, the skin of the cheeks and the temples are dry. In other words, the combination of skin oiliness and dryness shows simultaneously. To obtain the needed moisture and regulate sebum oily tendency to have a normal balance. Aromatherapy combined with massage with appropriate essential oils, brings very good results in the mixed skins and restores the normal glow, the normal flow of sebum and moisture and stimulates blood circulation.

• Oil-bases: Almond oil 85%, 15% wheat germ oil.

• Essential oils: geranium, rosewood, neroli, lavender, sandalwood.

Dry skin

Dry skin has a reduced secretion of sebum, small pores and is usually thin and delicate. It also creates wrinkles easily, because of the imbalance in the flow of sebum, easily displays eczema on the cheeks and chin and while aging there are inflammations and wrinkles.

• Oil-bases: Almond oil 30%, 20% avocado oil, wheat germ oil 15%, 35% jojoba.

• Essential oils: chamomile, jasmine, neroli, geranium, lavender, sandalwood.

Mature skin

This is a hard skin case, as it has wrinkles, it is dry and there is no oxygenation, humidity and normal flow of sebum. Also, often there are spider veins and lacks the elasticity and collagen. Aromatherapy along with a gentle massage can restore this skin condition in a balance, regulate functions and revitalize the cells and the bloodstream.

• Oil-bases: almond oil, jojoba, avocado, wheat germ 15%.

• Essential oils: palmarosa, geranium, jasmine, sandalwood, chamomile.
