Alternative ways to use your old makeup products

Before you rush to throw out the old or maybe broken products from your makeup bag, take a break and read this article. Below you will find tips on how useless makeup products can become very handy with no cost.

1) Use the brush of your mascara as an eyebrow brush.

If your old mascara is useless because it dryed out over time, that doesn’t mean that you can’t keep the old brush to set your eyebrows. Be sure to clean it thoroughly with alcohol or dish soap before use.

2) Turn your old eyeshadows into a liquid eyeliner.

Drop on the surface of your old eyeshadow some rubbing alcohol and scratch gently until the upper layer is gone. When you want to use it, simply take an eyeliner brush, dip it in water, then into the eyeshadow, and shuffle it. If necessary, repeat. So easy! Then you got an eyeliner that nobody else will have.

3) Mix your broken blush with Vaseline.

If you own a makeup bag full of products, you certainly have a broken blush inside. I’ll teach you how to harness it and turn it into a liquid blush. Just mix it with some Vaseline, which you got to slightly warm up into your microwave. Moreover, if the blush has a bronze hue, in the summer you can use the mixture as a body makeup.

4) Mix your broken powder with your face moisturizer.

If you mix your broken powder well with the facial moisturizer, you can use it again. Not in the form of a powder but as a mousse foundation.

5) Create your own lipstick shade.

Surely you have many lipsticks that you do not use anymore, either because you bought new ones, either because the orange is too bright, or because the particular shade of red is not in style anymore. Mix some of them together and try to create your own unique shade.
